Invention Convention 2018

Fred C. Underhill School is inviting students from grades 1 & 2 to participate in our school wide Invention Convention. The Convention occurs through guidelines from the Young Inventors Program. This program is designed to foster the development of creative and critical thinking skills in students across the nation. Students are encouraged to create an original invention which solves a problem. This is a voluntary, at-home project with check-ins and support from school personnel.

Students can work independently or in a team of two. Parent involvement should be somewhat limited as the ideas and majority of the work is expected to come from the student.
