All-Day Kindergarten Lottery Process

All-Day Kindergarten Lottery Process

Wednesday, March 25, 2020

Fred C. Underhill School Gymnasium 6:00 p.m.

  1. Each student entered into an All-Day Kindergarten Lottery will be assigned a number. That
number will be written on an index card and on the student’s registration form.
  2. The Principal of the Fred C. Underhill School will place them in an open box.
  3. On the day of the lottery, the Superintendent and/or designee, will draw index cards one at a
    time.
  4. As each index card is drawn, it will be recorded by the Assistant Superintendent or designee.
  5. The number of index cards drawn will equal the number of available seats.
  6. Families of multiple siblings will be assigned one number. If the number is chosen, all children
will be assigned a seat, per RSA 193:3-a.
  7. Once the number of available seats have been filled, a wait list will be created. The wait list will
be created by continuing to draw and record numbered index cards. Those numbers will be
placed on the wait list in that order.
