Mask Update from Superintendent – 1/28/2022

Dear Hooksett Families,

This past week, the 7-day PCR/antigen positivity rate in Hooksett has averaged 14.5% which is above the 10% threshold considered substantial transmission by the NH Department of Health and Human Services.  The number of active cases have decreased from 197 to 187 cases and the number of cases over the previous 14 days have decreased from 440 to 383 cases.  We will continue with the mask requirement for the week of Monday, January 31st through Friday, February 4th.  I will continue to monitor these data points and will provide another update at the end of next week.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding.

Sincerely,

William Rearick
Superintendent of Schools
